Hello! πŸ˜€

I hope everyone is well and happy. Friends in Indonesia and Malaysia may already be on holiday on Monday. I am taking a week break myself, although it will probably be a half-working holiday due to my project.

By the way, I’d like to update you on my house renovation. Not that it’s important πŸ˜€ but humour me and let me gloat a bit πŸ˜€ So, I finally finished extending the back room for the library, the laundry room and 75% of the front yard πŸ˜€ Yea, not 100% because I ran out of budget and couldn’t continue placing the iron fences and gate. But the carport’s much nicer now. The contractor added a few inches of soil on the lawn and replanted the grass too. When the grass is fully grown, then it will be a proper lawn. I am planning to plant a white banyan tree too. But I am going to wait until my backyard is ready and call a gardener and get all the plants in. So, first snapshot: My 75% renovated front yard. Upper left: Before Renovation. Upper right: the replanted lawn. Lower picture: the after renovation image.

Now, as you all know, I am a Liverpool supporter. A big part of that is my adoration towards the current captain, Steven Gerrard. He has been with the club for 15 years now. Never once switches to other clubs, although he had many opportunities to do so. I have been following his career since 2001 when he was a young starlet until now fully grown into a respectable captain. He is one of the humblest football players in the world despite all the medals and achievements. You may not understand what I am talking about. So, I am going to share with you a snapshot that shows his character here. I have never seen any other captain do this :’)

Cheers,
Grace
